George Galloway's Ranting Interview
@ 2006-08-09 - 10:39:35The other day I sat and watched George Galloway's interview with Sky on the Middle East situation. Following it I was compelled to email the station with the following:
I am disgusted by George Galloway's aggressive, unjustified defence of Hezbollah and attack on Israel. He comes out with the normal diatribe about bias reporting and narrow thinking with of course the obligatory conspiracy theory about how it's the USA and the UK who brought this about politically. At some point he should take some time out of his busy life to sit down and actually read the facts of the situation, both historically and in the present conflict. If he did so he might actually be able to give a considered, informed view of the subject rather than his rant and personal attack on the interviewer. In the coming weeks the Big Brother housemates will put an evictee back into the house. If only it were George Galloway.

He is a prima donna, always has been. Lets face it he is a Scotsman and everyone knows that each and every Scot is born complete with their own soap box. Usually the Scots confine the activity of standing on their soap box and having a rant to the many public houses which line the streets of this fair land and occasionally one or two of them escape complete with soap box and find themselves in the world of politics. Finding themselves in this Alien environment complete with an audience of media frenzied reporters, they willingly climb on to the soap box and rant everytime the lighting and sound is right. George has learned his script, memorised it completely and is willing to deliver is part in the political play to all an sundry on demand replacing only key words like the names of nation states or para military/terrorist groups to suit the most reported on conflict of the day.
